Nestled amongst woods in a country park
A peaceful sanctuary, the burial ground is surrounded on two sides by mature woods, and on a third side by a heritage railway line. The one acre site has around 250 mature trees and shrubs planted in it, and grass paths running through it.
The available options here are plots where you can have a tree, shrub or a wildflower mix planted. You can also have a stone plaque to mark the grave.

On the outskirts of the village of Riddings, near Alfreton, Derbyshire
Finding the site
Golden Valley Woodland Burial Ground is set back one field from the main road (Newlands Road) so only the stone track leading to it is visible from a distance. The track runs alongside the Heritage Railway line of the Midland Railway Centre where the occasional steam train runs when the line is operating.
There is pedestrian access at all times and limited careful parking is available on Newlands Road.
